★The king of metal bands, Iron Maiden.
I liked some of their songs so much and listened to them a lot a long time ago. The melodies and the guitar riffs overlap each other and Bruce Dickinson’s metallic voice is piled back on top of that, and then the sound becomes so unique. I don’t know why, but I can’t help imagining classical, solemn music playing in European churches with massive, beautiful stained glass windows.
★I like “Fear of the Dark” best, by far.
Whenever I listen to Iron Maiden, I always get the image of a silver color behind the sound. Maybe that comes from the name of “iron” directly. I like “Fear of the Dark” best, by far.
Iron Maiden have kept their own sound, and they’re still so cool even now.
I want to tell you about their song called “Flight of Icarus”. In it, we can feel much more wildness and heaviness and a deeper silver color, and a more “experienced” sound in the song than before.
★I respect the powerful vocals.
The powerful vocals hold their own with the high-pressure background sounds. I think it’s because of the experience he’s gained with age. No vocalist can escape from aging, but his voice has progressed along with his age, and that encourages me so much, so I respect him. Iron Maiden, forever !
